There is something deeply soothing about watching the waves on a lake. They may not be as majestic as ocean waves, but they have a rhythm of their own. Quieter. Closer. More intimate. Their gentle sound brings harmony and peace. In the distance, the sun's rays dance across the water, sparkling like glitter scattered over its surface.
Do you know that feeling? When a summer trip to the nearest lake becomes the perfect remedy for the noise and rush of city life? When, watching the reflections on the water accompanied by the rustling reeds, you feel the chaos of everyday life simply melt away?
That is exactly the feeling I wanted to capture in this design. That quiet moment of reflection and calm, when gazing at rippling water resets our nervous system.
The photographs used to create this pattern were taken at Lake Morzycko in Western Pomerania, Poland (52º 51' 44.547" N 14º 24' 41.72" E). A place that shaped my childhood and gave me some of my most treasured summer memories.

Just like every design in the HAYKA collection, the seemingly uniform surface of Lake hides a few little surprises. This time they come in the form of fish, big and small. I wonder if you'll be able to guess the species?
Keen-eyed anglers will surely recognize them before everyone else.

We set out to try with the help of modern printing technologies.
We designed a palette of simple yet striking textile patterns that mirror idyllic places we know well but rarely reach. How often do we spend a night under a star-studded sky, or lie back on an Alpine meadow in bloom? Time in nature is a joy that’s easy to forget.
This collection brings those places back within reach, letting you reconnect with them at home, in a form made for rest.
Bed duvet covers, pillowcases, and fitted sheets are available in many standard sizes.

This product is made with quality first.
The fabric is 100% cotton sateen, woven and printed in Łódź in accordance with the stringent requirements of the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. It’s soft yet durable, and the photorealistic print captures every detail and shade with remarkable accuracy.
Behind each of our designs is a story, and each one hides its own little surprises.
In line with our low-waste approach, we cut every piece randomly from the roll to minimize offcuts. As a result, no two pillowcases or tablecloths are exactly alike. The print placement will vary from piece to piece.
