These pillowcases were sewn for an overseas partner who ultimately canceled the order. The products are brand new, with no flaws or print errors. The 80 × 80 cm size is a standard on the German market.

IMPORTANT: Each pillowcase is unique because we cut them from different parts of the pattern. The placement of distinctive elements may differ from what you see in the photos.

Am I?

An inspiration to create Am I? bedding, designed by Pola Augustynowicz for the FOONKA® brand, was the theme of dreams. The artist is interested in dreams and the world that opens before us when we close our eyes, which is also the inspiration for many of her works. A dream, namely the image of what is hidden in the back of our minds, is told with the language of our subconsciousness. 

"Although some symbols appearing in dreams can be common to everyone, they can also be interpreted through the prism of one's own experience," says Pola. The artist placed several of such symbols in her design, they are associated with the outline of a female figure.

The full title of the work: "Am I the girl you dreamed about?" It Is the question asked by the artist, and her illustration perfectly reflects what these words convey.

ART collection

The design is a second model in the FOONKA® bedding collection, the main idea of which is to present the art of contemporary illustrators, painters and designers.

The most amazing feature of the entire collection is the fact that the artist, who is currently working with the brand, designates the next people who, in his or her opinion, should create new designs. Thanks to this, artists have an impact on the appearance and the direction of the development of the entire ART collection.

Aleksandra Morawiak, whose Liquid Memory project began this extraordinary concept in 2019, pointed to Pola Augustynowicz. Consequently, Pola will appoint new artists, one of whom will be invited to cooperation.

Pola Augustynowicz

is an illustrator and graphic artist, graduate from the University of the Arts in Poznań, studied journalism at The Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Winner of many graphic contests and biennials. Illustrator of articles, books, designer of posters and packaging. A co-creator of the ILU NAS JEST illustrative collective.

The posters she designs are closely related to the events of her life. They are designed under the influence of emotions, and the starting point for their creation are words that carry great power.

She likes long conversations, vernissages and concerts, hairy dogs, the sea in autumn and the smell of jasmine.

Fabric and production

The product was made mainly with quality in mind. The fabric is 100% cotton weaved and printed in Łódź in compliance with the most stringent requirements of the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certificate. It is soft and durable, and the photorealistic print renders every detail and shade remarkably accurate.

Behind our each design there is a different story, and each of them holds its own original surprises. Following the less-waste rule, we try to limit the amount of produced waste to the minimum. That is why every our product is cut out from the fabric randomly to save on scrap. It is extremely difficult to find two identical pillow cases or tablecloths with the same elements placed in the same spots.
