Am I? (Pola Augustynowicz)

An inspiration to create Am I? pattern, designed by Pola Augustynowicz, was the theme of dreams. The artist is interested in dreams and the world that opens before us when we close our eyes, which is also the inspiration for many of her works. A dream, namely the image of what is hidden in the back of our minds, is told with the language of our subconsciousness.

"Although some symbols appearing in dreams can be common to everyone, they can also be interpreted through the prism of one's own experience," says Pola. The artist placed several of such symbols in her design, they are associated with the outline of a female figure.

The full title of the work: "Am I the girl you dreamed about?" It Is the question asked by the artist, and her illustration perfectly reflects what these words convey.
